Dreams have no rules

What's this all about ?

Greetings to you, crawler of the world wide web... Thanks for stopping by !

Let us first present ourselves. We are Rubix, Dali, King and Sadrane: Four guys sharing the common dream to create games we would love to play.

While alone, each of us (having a fulltime job and having only a small set of specific skills) thought that the dream was just what it was: "a dream". This changed when we talked about it and decided to come together and join forces.

UFOS.GAMES was born and the dream is now a goal. We've put together ideas we've been sleeping over for years now and have come up with four games that will be fun to create and play. Even if it's only a side project for the time being, we are hoping it could one day become our main activity. Until this day comes, each of us, having other professional responsibilities, dedicates a regular amount of our free time every week to make sure our games get off the ground.

We would love to launch our first big game (Surviral) by mid 2021.

Does this look promising ?

Please help us reach our goal faster ?

Games in incubation

Meet the super team

Rubix: The Coder

Super powers:

Has total control over digital technology and can command it in doing whatever he wants.

Origin story:

After having been exposed to code from a ZX Spectrum at the age of six, Rubix's brain has been rewired to work with code better than with anything else. Having worked in the digital business for more than two decades, creating mostly webapps, he also played with a lot of game engines including Unity and Unreal and is now ready for this new coding adventure.

Dali: The Concept Artist

Super powers:

Can control the flow of graphite, water color, chalk, and other mediums to create visual representations of his dreams.

Origin story:

At the age of seven, Dali saw a flying object entering the atmosphere. He rushed out to the landing site... The next thing he recalls was waking up in his bed and isn't sure if he had been dreaming. One thing is sure though: He gained this strange ability to draw whatever he sees in his mind. Using this power, he's been working as an illustrator for more than twenty years.

King: The 3D Artist

Super powers:

Can create vivid intangible representations of any existing or imaginary objects from thin air.

Origin story:

When he was still a toddler, King was accidentally induced with three dimensional knowledge, giving him a supernatural perception of the world. Combined with his 18 years of intense gaming, he has now the ability to create virtual worlds from scratch. Working as a 3D artist in an advertising agency, he is now ready to add interactivity to his static creations.

Sadrane: The Sound Engineer

Super powers:

Can create and shape sound waves to manipulate other people's feelings and emotions.

Origin story:

Born with a rare genetic mutation, Sadrane has been able to absorb sound since he was born and hasn't stopped since. Even if this power is not of direct use in his current job, he manages his work team like an orchestra. Using his enormous gaming experience and his sound effects knowledge, Sadrane will surely help the UFOS.GAMES' team hit the right note.

Please help speeding-up the dream

UFOS.GAMES exists due to our common passion and love for games. So, even without funding, we are slowly building our games. Funding will help speed-up the process. As we never released any public commercial games, crowd-funding is the only legitimate funding method we can expect and Patreon seemed to be the right platform for a part-time activity.

Moreover, having people (even only one) who love what we do and backing us up would be one big motivation to make sure we are regular in our progress to make the dream come true.
